DISABLED SPECIAL OLYMPICS (Swimming) 

   

Warming up (Distance swimming depending on the fitness level of each person)

Free swimming style training 

1. Flotation exercises with the body in a prone position to improve the technique and strengthen the lower limbs

2. Exercises to improve the technique and strengthen the upper limbs. It also aims to improve the breathing technique (inhalation-exhalation)

3. Swim 50 meters at a fast pace to improve speed

4. Swimming 100 and 200 meters to improve the resistance of people with a physical condition that allows it.

Backstroke swimming style

1. Exercises by moving the legs only in a supine position to improve their technique

2. Swimming 50 meters with right-handed movement at 25 meters and left in the last 25 meters to improve their technique.

3. Swimming 50 and 100 meters from the base to improve speed-resistance. At the same time, the starting technique improves.

Breaststroke style swimming training

1. Exercises by moving the lower on floating boards

2. Swimming 50 meters by moving the upper limbs in the front position and lower leg movements such as in the free style. It focuses on improving the technique of the upper limbs and the technique of breathing

3. Swimming 50 and 100 meters from the base

Rehabilitation (Ultra-slower swimming for complete relaxation)
